Nuova versione del sendMail più allegato, testato su server windows e linux, anche su aruba. Il php (allegato) può essere utilizzato con le dovute modifiche per la vecchia versione in AS2.
Da modificare nel fla le seguenti variabili:
var URLrequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://domain/send.php");
variables.toEmail = "mail@mail.it";
variables.subject = "Contact form";
e aumentare / diminuire il valore massimo dell’upload:
if (file.size > 200*1024) {
altre eventuali modifiche sono abbastanza intuitive, anche se, come al solito, il sorgente non è commentato, di sicuro una prossima implementazione sarà una barra di caricamento per l’upload del file, se avete altri consigli…

I have downloaded the contact form and change to my domain in the .fla file and changed the sent to address to my mail address and uploaded the send.php file to my ftp
i tried to run the application but it didn’t work.

need more info about the server, the php has been tested on win and linux server php4, anyway, have you tried to send the email without no attachment?

I have set up the application accordingly and have been successful in sending the email. Although the email did indicated “In allegato il file: Test.txt”, there’s no email attachment in it. I added some debug code and found the file is uploaded successfully. Can you please help me on this.. Thanks a million

as i said in previous post the sample has been tested with success on windows (aruba) and linux (mediatemple), the problem is (well should be…) in the php, the code regarding mime, also you should be sure the temp folder on your server is accessible.
could you please tell me more about server info? so i’ll be able to do more tests.

No worries about the issue, i suspected its the folder security issues too but I have no inkling which folder to allow access.. could you give me guidance here? I am using a shared hosting plan on windows which allows php.. I’m kinda new to web development so perhaps you can let me know which information is required?

if you are checking offline or on local server you may get such error, have you tried online? and did you get the email with the attachment?

Everything works fine, but it never transitions to the “sent” screen.

I really needed this, with some modifications.
I would have liked it to allow only mp3 files. (that I could have done, but it’s not working for me)
im totally new to flash. my question is which folder on your server are the images stored. do you have to create the folder yourself?
For whatever reasons, I cannot get this to work with attachments. I see an attachment on e-mails, but it appears the attachment is always corrupted. It has the right file-name and extension. If I could get that one piece working, this would be awesome for my needs.

it’s really simple, click twice on the movieclip, then select the button (browse file) or labels (name, email…) and on the menu open Window -> Property -> Parameters.
You should have these panels at the bottom of flash, Property|Filters|Parameters,
when you check parameters and have the object (in our case the button or the label) selected you have more info about it, such as: autosize, condensewhite… and text, just change the text as you like.
I’m glad it’s working, few people say it don’t, :(
